Councillor Richard Clifton 2016
Many congratulations to Richard, one of our Trumpet Players, who was elected Mayor of Sutton in May 2016/17. Richard was one of the founder members of our band formed in the late 1990's Among his many duties, he is our Band Secretary. Richard is pictured left at one of several events he attended on a weekend in June 2016. He even found time to play with us for the afternoon concert at the Friends Meeting House in Sutton. Members of the band joined Richard for carols in the St Nicholas Centre just before Christmas to raise cash for his chosen charities; 'Sutton Shop Mobility' and the Alzheimer's Society.
